Issue #2 — You Didn't Get Here by Accident

The second issue of the Trionyx newsletter.

Hi there,

Before we say a word about robotics, we want to start somewhere else.

Think about the last few years. The Friday evening when the elevator went down and a tenant was already upset. The vendor who didn't show, and the fix you arranged anyway. The budget you stretched, the team you held together, the problems that never reached anyone above you because you handled them first.

None of that was luck. It was judgment, built one day at a time.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be writing about new technology in buildings: what it can do, what it can't, and how to evaluate it without risking your reputation. But we want to be clear about where we're coming from.

Our view is simple: the people who run buildings are the reason buildings work. Technology is only useful if it respects that.

So over this series, we'll try to earn your attention, not assume it.

Next issue: the question nobody likes to ask out loud.

Reply and tell us the one problem in your building that takes up the most of your time. We read every response.
